Conductive Education originated in Hungary and since 1986 we, at NICE, have been delivering services and training in this unique system.

Our transformative work covers children and adults of all ages all of whom have been diagnosed with a neurological disability affecting their movements. These typically are cerebral palsy, stroke, head injury, Parkinson’s or multiple sclerosis.

We offer positive change to the lives of people with neurological conditions. We create impact by working with each person to transform their quality of life.

  • Supported over 9,000 children and adults with neurological conditions
  • Conductive Education primary school rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted
  • Trained 137 people to qualify as conductors in the UK
  • Instrumental in forming The Professional Conductor Association

NICE Champions will play a crucial role in enabling us to recover from the pandemic and continue creating history.

“Tommy continued to be pushed and supported in his development and he learned to both walk unaided and walk up and down stairs during the lockdown” – Parent

“Without doubt, the support Conductive Education has enabled me to continue a fairly normal life” – Adult
