NICE Charity Summer Fayre
To celebrate 35 years as a charity, we’re having an 80’s theme with stalls, games, refreshments and great entertainment: Eva Abley – 2022 Britain’s Got Talent finalist; Harrison James – former X Factor contestant; and SHE Choir Birmingham who will be appearing in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games opening ceremony! Great Birmingham Run
Team NICE smashed it on Sunday 1st May, raising nearly £4000 for their sponsored runs.
7 supporters ran in the half-marathon and 10k races and families and supporters joined the NICE cheer point in Cannon Hill Park to make some noise as Team NICE went by,
NICE 35 Challenge
To celebrate 35 years as a charity, we held the NICE 35 challenge!
From Monday 14th March to Sunday 17th April 2022, our supporters raised over £12,500.
NICE Wellbeing Day
Make a positive start to 2022 by giving yourself a wellbeing boost and help us raise vital funds.
NICE Charity 10k run
Join us once again for our annual 10k run around the beautifully scenic Cannon Hill Park on Sunday 31 October 2021. After the race runners gather back at NICE for prize giving, a spectacular raffle and some sweet treats with hot beverages. NICE Golf Day

We were absolutely delighted to host our first in-person event since March 2020, with a game of golf in the fresh air! It was a brilliant day for attendees to catch up with colleagues and friends after many months of working from home. With the safety of social distance and the outdoors, our guests enjoyed some great food and networking in the spectacular scenery of Edgbaston Golf Club. Congratulations to ‘A Good Spoiled Walk’ for winning the tournament and taking home the NICE trophy!
The day raised an amazing £6, 340, thank you very much to our sponsors S&U Plc and Aspen Bridging for making this possible.
Jury Duty Experience
This was a fascinating evening of solving a crime. Hosted by professional actors our event attendees attended as remote jurors, reviewing evidence to figure out if the accused was guilty or not guilty. Our attendees did a fantastic job at crime solving, they managed to reach the correct verdict. This virtual event raised a brilliant £108 for NICE, thank you to all who attended.
Online Bingo
What a brilliant night of fun! 13 of our loyal bingo players joined us once again for our NICE Bingo Night. We had some wonderful prizes to play for, including an online drinks package for a Chase Distillery tasting experience. Thank you to everyone who joined us, we raised £65 from the evening for NICE.
Virtual Magician Show

Magician Paul Fowler wowed us all through our screens last night with our virtual magic show. From completing a Rubik’s Cube with his eyes closed to mindreading, Paul blew us all away with his magic.

Spooktacular Evening

We are welcoming back our old friend and drama pro, Adam Siviter, to host a family-friendly spooktacular evening of entertainment via Zoom. There was spooky storytelling, a Halloween quiz and a best-dressed prize – raising a fantastic £113.
NICE Charity Virtual 10k

Our 10k Race went virtual last November! Massive thanks to the incredible runners who raised £260 with their efforts to stay active through the winter.
Raise a NICE Glass
Thank you to everyone who got involved with our raise a NICE glass campaign, joining together in recognition and support of how hard it can be living with a disability. To mark the end of the campaign everyone involved came together on Friday 1 May on a zoom video call to all #raiseaNICEglass together, we were delighted to have 76 people join us online for this!
NICE Easter Bonnet Competition and Parade
For our first virtual event we hosted a NICE Easter bonnet competition and parade. We had a lot of fun all together over Zoom, the children got to showcase their homemade bonnets and celebrate Easter Sunday all together from their homes. Congratulations to Victoria on winning the competition with your wonderful rainbow Easter bonnet!
2.6 Challenge
Thank you to all of our supporters who got involved with the 2.6 challenge on the 26th April, we were so happy to see all of your wonderful creative challenges. Together you all raised £1,830!
The NICE Spring Ball 2020
This was our first Spring Ball held at the Edgbaston Park Hotel, which was a massive success. We were delighted to have the lovely Elisabeth Dermot Walsh from Doctors hosting the evening and our special guest TV auctioneer Charles Hanson to conduct our live auction. Thank you so much to all of our guests who attended we raised an amazing £35,053! And a special thank you to our Ball committee, Lisa Bryan, Emma Segal and Ranjit Bhathal for helping organise what was a truly memorable event.
