NICE views recovery from a stroke as an on-going learning process and not a defined time limited process. We understand the potential of the brain to change resulting in improved movement, confidence and quality of life for stroke survivors.

Every stroke survivor deserves the chance to explore their movement potential and have the specialist input needed to achieve the best possible recovery. Our courses are designed to promote activity and guide each person towards a better longer term outcome. Research carried out on Conductive Education (Click here to see the Stroke Research project) demonstrated significant outcomes for people past the end of their statutory rehabilitation.

We recognise that the wider family are also living with the condition but from a different perspective. We therefore also offer advice and support to carers and family members.
